The New Order Magazine
Volume 20
Editorial
The New Order Magazine, founded by James Oliver in 2009, has established itself as a definitive voice in global street culture from its Tokyo base. This bi-annual publication masterfully weaves high-end and underground influences across fashion, art, music, and lifestyle, maintaining a purist editorial approach that emphasizes deep cultural analysis. Known for featuring both influential figures like Rick Owens and Liam Gallagher alongside emerging talent, the magazine consistently captures the raw, authentic pulse of modern culture.
For Volume 20, we were commissioned to document Japanese artist Yuki Chiba (formerly known as KOHH) during his landmark first U.S. tour, contributing to the magazine's tradition of bridging established cultural icons with innovative newcomers. This collaboration aligned perfectly with The New Order's mission of fostering meaningful dialogue around style, creativity, and social influence in global subcultures.
